Love the direction. One note — can we keep the checkout to a single page?
You · 10:45
Agreed — we'll use Stripe Checkout and keep it to one page. Added to the project decisions.

From the first message to final delivery.
- 1
Start the project
However the work begins — a referral, a platform, or a team kickoff.
- 2
Create a Pactroom
One private space for this project.
- 3
Invite the people involved
Send a private link. No setup on their side.
- 4
Work together
Chat, files, tasks and decisions in one place.
- 5
Deliver with confidence
Everything documented, nothing lost.
The problem
Your project shouldn't live in five different places.
Most projects start organized. By week three, the real project — the decisions, the requirements, the files — is spread across tools nobody chose.
- Important decisions buried in chat
- Files scattered across links
- Feedback lost in long conversations
- Unclear next steps
- Forgotten requirements
- Repeated questions
- No central project history
Conversations, files, tasks, decisions and project AI — together, where the work happens.
The solution
One private room for the entire project.
Conversations
Keep the project conversation in one place.
Files & Links
Share the assets, references and documents your project depends on.
Tasks
Turn discussions into clear next steps.
Project History
Keep decisions, approvals and project activity connected.
Project AI
Ask questions about your project's conversations, files and decisions.
Shared Collaboration
Give everyone on the project a simple, private place to work together.
Project AI
Your project remembers everything.
Pactroom's Project AI works with the context of your project, so you can ask questions about conversations, files, requirements, decisions and tasks — without digging through everything yourself.
- What did we decide about the checkout page?
- What's still open on this project?
- Summarize everything we decided this week.
- Create tasks from our latest conversation.
- What does the requirements document say about mobile?
Project AI is powered by the information in your project — with answers that point back to their sources.

Security
Private by design.
Project work is sensitive. Pactroom is built so that privacy isn't a feature you enable — it's the default.
Project-level access
Each project is its own private space. Only invited people can enter.
Clear permissions
Owners control project settings and removals. Members work on the project's tasks and conversations.
Authenticated access
Everyone signs in. Workspaces aren't reachable by shared guessable links alone.
Secure file handling
Project files stay inside the project, with access controls around them.
Controlled AI access
Project AI only draws on information the current user is authorized to see.
Auditability
Important actions — invitations, uploads, decisions — are recorded in the project history.
AI that works within your project boundaries.
Pactroom's AI should only use information the current user is authorized to access.
- Members see the shared project information
- Project AI only uses what the signed-in person can access
- Private information remains private
- Actions that matter can require human approval
FAQ
Common questions about Pactroom
- What is Pactroom?
- Pactroom is a private workspace for any project you run with other people. Each project is one room for conversations, files, tasks, decisions, and project-aware AI. Freelancers, clients and teams all use the same room.
- How do people join a project?
- Anyone can create a project. Invite people with a private link or an email, and they land in that workspace after signing in — no extra setup. Anyone in the project can invite more people.
- Is project work private?
- Yes. Access is project-level. Only invited people can enter, everyone signs in, and Project AI only uses information the people in that project are allowed to see.
- How is Pactroom different from email, Slack, or a shared drive?
- Those tools scatter decisions, files, and next steps. Pactroom keeps the whole project in one private workspace so nothing is buried across threads and folders.
